Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to support major infrastructure bids from pre-qualification through mobilisation. The role blends hybrid/remote work with a focus on procurement governance and supplier engagement across complex projects.

The candidate will drive bid strategies, engage suppliers, assist estimating teams and ensure best-practice procurement throughout the bid lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure and/or civil engineering procurement bidding.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction procurement processes.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders, and estimating activities.

Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

Hybrid / Remote | ASAP - November 2027 | Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to support major infrastructure and civil engineering bids from pre-qualification through to project mobilisation.

You'll play a key role in shaping procurement strategies, engaging suppliers, supporting estimating teams, and ensuring best-practice procurement throughout the bid life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support successful bids and tenders.
• Lead supplier engagement, selection, and tendering activities.
• Support estimating teams with market intelligence and pricing inputs.
• Manage stakeholder and supply chain relationships across complex projects.
• Ensure procurement governance, compliance, and supply chain assurance.
• Support sustainable procurement and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Contribute to high-quality procurement responses for tender submissions.

What we're looking for:

• Strong procurement and supply chain experience within infrastructure and/or civil engineering
• Proven experience supporting bids, tenders, and estimating activities
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction procurement
• Experience with e-tendering platforms such as Jaggaer, SourceDogg, or similar
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• MCIPS qualified or working towards accreditation
