Job summary

SF Partners is seeking a Head of Procurement in Lenham, England, to elevate a largely self-taught buying operation. Lead a small team, drive strategic sourcing, imports, and supplier performance while building the supply chain for our own pipe support system and certification processes.

You will own planning, purchasing, supplier management, and the S&OP cycle, with a focus on cost, terms, and process improvement across UK operations and international imports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in buying or procurement leadership in industrial/building products.
• Direct sourcing from overseas manufacturers including landed cost.
• Supplier development with audits, certifications and testing.
• Delivery-focused with a track record of savings and improvements.
• Experience leading and developing buyers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a three-person procurement team and develop capabilities.
• Develop category plans for sourcing, price, range and risk.
• Source back to manufacturers with second sources for critical lines.
• Test price and landed cost; manage supplier negotiations and calendars.
• Own S&OP cycle and KPI framework; manage inventory and forecasts.
