Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions Ltd is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a senior Purchasing Manager. This role leads the purchasing function, shaping strategy and driving supplier performance to support cost control, quality, delivery and growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate with key suppliers and build resilient supply chains while mentoring the team and embedding continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• Senior purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience.
• Strong supplier negotiation and commercial management.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control.
• Ability to analyse data and deliver cost and process improvements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset; Excel/Word proficiency.
• CIPS or procurement qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the purchasing function.
• Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain strategies.
• Manage supplier selection, development and performance.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee purchasing systems and inventory control.

• Monitor KPIs and supplier performance.
• Support budgeting and governance.
