Job summary

MKT Partnerships Ltd, a well-established manufacturer in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Procurement Manager to own end-to-end procurement strategy and drive value across direct and indirect spend.

You will lead supplier negotiations, contract management and continuous improvement across the supply chain, working closely with production, planning and engineering teams to meet quality and delivery targets. Salary is dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain roles within manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Proven track record of improving supplier performance and cost savings.
• CIPS qualification or working towards it is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing purchasing across raw materials, components and indirect spend.
• Building relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Leading sourcing projects to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Working with production, planning and engineering teams to support business needs.
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving service or quality issues; developing purchasing policies and supplier agreements.
