Job summary

Morgan Hunt is supporting a Public Sector Organisation to recruit a Procurement Business Partner on a full-time, permanent basis in the UK. The role leads strategic sourcing and tendering end to end, develops supplier contracts, and drives compliance with policies and procedures.

You will establish KPIs, manage contract variations, build relationships with internal stakeholders and legal partners, and mentor teams while improving procurement processes and supplier development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the full tendering process.
• Proven commercial contract management experience in the public sector or regulated environment.
• Practical knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leading strategic sourcing and tendering activity from end to end
• Developing and managing commercial and supplier contracts
• Driving compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Establishing meaningful KPIs and supplier performance measures
• Managing contract variations, reviews and commercial improvements
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal partners
• Supporting supplier rationalisation and supply-chain development
• Improving procurement processes, systems and commercial practices
• Providing leadership, mentoring and development where required
• Strong experience managing the full tendering process
• Proven commercial contract management experience in public sector or regulated environments
• Knowledge of procurement regulations
