Morgan Hunt UK Limited is supporting a public sector organisation to appoint a Procurement Advisor for an initial 6‑month contract based in London, Glasgow or Cardiff. The role offers exposure to end‑to‑end tender activity and high‑impact procurement projects.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, ensure compliance with UK public procurement regulations (PCR 2015, Procurement Act 2023), and deliver governance‑driven procurement from definition to contract award.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in public sector procurement, delivering end-to-end tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders and leadership teams to identify procurement requirements and develop plans.
• Provide expert procurement advice ensuring compliance with UK public sector regulations while achieving value for money.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from definition to tendering, evaluation, contract award and implementation.
• Deliver procurement projects including open market tenders, framework mini-competitions, and direct awards.
• Draft and managed contract documentation, including extensions, variations and amendments.
• Ensure procurement activity complies with governance, policies and regulations.
• Maintain procurement records and support process improvements through standardisation and data-driven reporting.
• Provide guidance and training to contract managers and stakeholders on procurement processes and governance.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies across the function.
