Job summary

Morgan Hunt is supporting a Public Sector Organisation to appoint a Procurement Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, develop supplier contracts and drive compliance with procurement policies.

Role requires strong stakeholder management, experience with tendering, and knowledge of procurement regulations. Degree-level qualification and CIPS status or progress toward it are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• CIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards Chartered status.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in legal contract management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading strategic sourcing and tendering activity from end to end.
• Developing and managing commercial and supplier contracts.
• Driving compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Establishing meaningful KPIs and supplier performance measures.
• Managing contract variations, reviews and commercial improvements.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal partners.
• Supporting supplier rationalisation and supply-chain development.
• Improving procurement processes, systems and commercial practices.
• Providing leadership, mentoring and development where required.
• Strong experience managing the full tendering process.
• Proven commercial contract management experience, ideally within the public sector or regulated environment.
