Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Procurement Business Partner to lead procurement strategy and delivery across the Trust. You will work with clinical, operational and commercial stakeholders to secure best-value solutions, deliver savings, and ensure contracts meet requirements.

The role requires experience with public sector tendering, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a track record of CIP-supported improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience of conducting tendering processes within a public sector organisation.
• Good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
• Skilled negotiator with ability to influence and manage internal customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leads the delivery of the Trust’s procurement strategy and ensures compliance with procurement legislation and organisational objectives.
• Manages procurement and materials management services, supporting Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) targets and delivering value, savings and quality improvements.
• Builds effective relationships with clinical, operational and commercial stakeholders to secure best‑value procurement solutions and ensure contractual requirements are met.
