Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a procurement professional to manage end‑to‑end sourcing for subcontracts, materials, plant and equipment within a defined area. You will lead RFQ/RFP activities, evaluate tenders and issue award recommendations, while embedding collaborative working with estimating and project teams.

The role requires building supplier relationships, conducting due diligence, and driving continuous improvement to meet project objectives across the division.

Qualifications

• Experience of end‑to‑end procurement for subcontractor services and materials.
• Knowledge of tendering processes and supplier management.
• Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for subcontracts, materials, plant and equipment.
• Evaluate tender responses and prepare award recommendations.
• Perform due diligence and commercial checks on suppliers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and prices to achieve value for money.
• Support estimating and work winning with procurement input.
• Collaborate with project teams and cross-functional departments.
