Job summary

Good Energy is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead strategic procurement across direct and indirect spend, strengthen supplier partnerships and ensure value delivery aligned with our sustainability mission.

Based in Chippenham with hybrid working, you’ll engage senior stakeholders, develop teams, and drive governance and continuous improvement to support renewable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior procurement leadership experience across direct and indirect spend.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop procurement teams.
• Strong commercial insight and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver procurement strategies across direct and indirect spend.
• Lead strategic procurement for materials and services supporting renewable energy installations.
• Provide procurement expertise across the wider Group, including tendering and contract reviews.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive supplier value and risk management.
• Engage with MDs and senior leaders to influence commercial decisions.
• Lead supplier relationships, negotiate complex agreements and drive performance.
• Coach and develop procurement teams for high performance.
• Ensure governance, policy compliance and continuous improvement.
• Align procurement plans with Operations, Tech and Finance for operational continuity.
• Strengthen supply chain resilience and support ESG initiatives.
