Job summary

Good Energy Group in Chippenham, Wiltshire, is seeking a Head of Procurement on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead strategic procurement across direct and indirect spend, strengthen supplier partnerships and deliver value for money. You’ll shape our procurement strategy, manage risk and drive continuous improvement across the function.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, empower teams and influence key commercial decisions to support our mission of a greener, more sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Senior procurement experience across direct and indirect spend.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
• Confidence influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver procurement strategies across direct and indirect spend.
• Lead Solar Services and Supply Procurement activity.
• Provide procurement expertise and guidance across the Group.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and optimise supplier value.
• Build relationships with MDs, senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Lead supplier relationship management and negotiate complex agreements.
