Job summary

CMR Surgical Ltd. is seeking a procurement leader to manage supplier relationships and optimise the sourcing function. The role supports the Versius robotic system, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the Ely/Cambridge office, and global collaboration across teams.

You will drive end-to-end sourcing, analyse markets, negotiate contracts, and develop strategies in partnership with technology, regulatory and marketing teams. Strong procurement experience in medical devices is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience in technical manufacturing and medical devices.
• Experience with AI, workflow automation and advanced tools is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel globally if required.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage allocated suppliers and commodities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, market analysis, negotiations, contracting.
• Translate department needs into sourcing strategies and plans.
• Improve procurement processes using automated systems and AI.
• Maintain supplier relationships and vendor partnerships.
• Cross-functional project management of key activities.
• Track and deliver cost of goods savings.
• Ensure on-time supply and proper inventory levels.
• Track and report key metrics and SLAs.
• Finalize purchase details and mitigate supply risks.
