Job summary

Empower Talent Ltd seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead a growing function within an established FMCG business based in West Lothian. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own supplier strategy, drive commercial negotiations and manage a small team of two in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have proven cost-saving delivery, strong contract management, ERP/MRP experience and excellent stakeholder engagement across finance, operations and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experienced procurement professional with leadership capabilities.
• Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, retail or similar sectors.
• Strong supplier negotiations and contract management experience.
• Proven track record of driving cost savings and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the procurement function across the operation.
• Support and develop a small procurement team of two.
• Identify, select and develop suppliers and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts and SLAs.
• Oversee tendering, supplier selection and contract renewals.
• Foster long-term supplier relationships and risk mitigation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.
