Flintshire County Council seeks a Principal Auditor to support and develop the Internal Audit Service, providing strategic, independent assurance and advisory input to strengthen governance and internal control across the authority.

The role requires experience in risk-based auditing, data analytics, and use of digital/AI-enabled tools, with strong leadership and stakeholder management. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified CMIIA or CCAB member.
• Experience in risk-based auditing and data analytics.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
• Welsh speaking and writing skills desirable.
