Job summary

Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit Service. You will assist in delivering audit and assurance activities under Global Internal Audit Standards, supporting senior staff, and contributing to risk governance and controls improvements.

The role offers a Grade 7 salary (£33,119–£36,581) with 37 hours per week and open-ended basis. A professional qualification is encouraged, preferably with local government audit experience and data analytics

Qualifications

• Sound audit background, preferably in local government environments.
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Ability to assist in delivering audit reviews and assurance activities.
