Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Internal Audit principles (training provided if needed).
• Awareness of risks, risk assessments, and risk management.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
• Practical judgement and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to assess internal controls by reviewing documentation, interviewing staff, and testing records.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports outlining observations and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings and negotiate practical improvements with senior management.
• Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Offer ad hoc advice on risks, controls, policies, and procedures.
