Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking a Portfolio Reporting Lead to drive portfolio-level reporting and analytics, translating complex data into clear insights for senior leaders and customers. You will orchestrate cross‑functional information from programmes, finance, and PMO to deliver timely, accurate reporting and dashboards that support informed decision‑making.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in complex portfolio reporting, and the ability to challenge data with confidence

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insight.
• Experience producing complex portfolio or programme reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
• Advanced capability in reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• High levels of attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
• The confidence to challenge information constructively and influence decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of portfolio‑level reporting for internal governance and external customer requirements.
• Bring together information from multiple programmes, projects, and functions to provide a joined‑up view of portfolio performance.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas needing attention.
• Develop insightful dashboards, reporting packs, and visualisations for effective decision‑making.
• Collaborate with programme managers, finance, project controls and PMO to improve reporting quality.
• Provide assurance on data accuracy and integrity, challenging assumptions when needed.
• Support delivery of customer reporting commitments and deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and simplification of reporting processes.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to enable proactive action.
