Job summary

UK Government Investments (UKGI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide delivery capability across the organisation. You will translate priorities into deliverable plans, maintain oversight of progress, risks and dependencies, and provide senior leaders with clear information and confidence in delivery.

The role will bring structure, pace and transparency to a portfolio of priority initiatives and will involve cross-functional collaboration across the Financial Instruments and

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering projects or programmes with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated delivery plans.
• Experience applying proportionate governance, including delivery cadences, RAID logs, action tracking and decision logs.
• Strong track record of managing risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Experience with portfolio management or delivery assurance.
• Proven ability to work with senior sponsors and stakeholders to maintain alignment and support timely decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating strategy into clear plans.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio planning and prioritisation: Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans with milestones, owners, dependencies and success measures.
• Translate priorities into defined projects and workstreams; agree scope with sponsors and delivery leads.
• Maintain a forward view across portfolios to identify emerging pressures and decisions.
