AXIS Capital in London seeks a Portfolio Pricing Analyst / Actuary (Contractor) to join the newly formed AXIS Capacity Solutions team. You will apply actuarial pricing expertise to robust, data-driven portfolio pricing across multi-line deals and collaborate with underwriters to shape structures and risk assessments.

You will contribute to portfolio monitoring, pricing tool development, and planning. The role offers a hybrid work pattern and exposure to top-tier London Market transactions.

Qualifications

• Progress towards actuarial qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical analysis clearly to a range of stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Support pricing of portfolio deals across the lifecycle with data prep, models, and outputs.
• Collaborate with underwriters and senior actuaries to shape pricing and evaluate deal structures.
• Deliver portfolio and product monitoring analyses on rate changes, exposure, loss experience and trends.
• Maintain benchmarks and portfolio metrics; develop pricing tools and data flows.
• Contribute to expected loss ratios and pricing assumptions for planning.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with actuarial input.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and foster a high-performing team.
