Job summary

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is seeking a Portfolio Performance & Insight Specialist Advisor to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that informs NRW’s Corporate Plan and priorities. You will develop performance reporting, dashboards and management information for senior leaders to monitor delivery and drive informed decisions.

You will work across NRW to shape measurement, reporting and evidence-based decision-making with a flexible, hybrid pattern and Welsh language

Qualifications

• Significant experience in performance management, portfolio management, programme governance or organisational reporting within a large and complex organisation.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret, integrate and present complex information for decision-making.
• Experience developing and maintaining performance reports, dashboards and management information using tools such as Power BI or Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of portfolio performance monitoring arrangements across Corporate Plan priorities.
• Analyse and integrate information from plans, programmes, risks and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain portfolio reporting products, dashboards and MI for senior leaders and governance groups.
• Collate, validate and quality assure performance information and ensure timely reporting.
• Lead the production of portfolio performance reports for Executive Team, Portfolio Group and Board.
• Provide specialist advice on portfolio reporting, performance management and data quality.
