Natural Resources Wales is seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to join the People Team. You will provide expert HR advice across a wide range of people matters, support employee relations and deliver people initiatives. The role supports managers and employees, with a flexible approach and a suitable hybrid pattern.

You will engage with policy, procedures and employment legislation, and contribute to continuous improvement and an excellent employee experience within NRW.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional HR qualification and experience.
• Experience providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers.
• Experience supporting employee relations casework including disciplinary and absence management.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience coaching managers to build confidence and capability.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
• Coach managers in applying policies and best practices to develop capability.
• Support employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
• Analyse information to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Deliver HR services with a responsive, customer-focused approach.
• Collaborate with the People Team to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Identify emerging people issues and propose interventions.
