Job summary

The Comhairle nan Eilean Siar invites applications for the Strategy Officer role, supporting the development of strategic policies, projects and performance frameworks for the Outer Hebrides. You will research policy developments, draft strategies and plans, and identify funding and project opportunities to enhance community wellbeing.

You will also prepare reports, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with communities, partners and stakeholders while using outcome‑measurement frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or significant experience in development of strategic projects.
• Experience working with external stakeholders and in rural/island communities.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse national and local policy developments.
• Develop strategies and plans; identify funding and project opportunities.
• Coordinate projects and support governance and delivery.
