Job summary

Willmott Dixon seeks an experienced PMO Manager to lead governance and portfolio management within our technology and business change function. You will advise the IT Director and SLT, ensuring investments are prioritised, risks managed, and benefits realised across the organisation.

You will establish and improve PMO standards, processes, and reporting, partnering with business and technology leaders to provide clear demand, capacity, and dependency insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in a senior PMO leadership role with complex portfolios.
• Proven track record in enterprise IT program delivery and governance frameworks.
• Experience with digital transformation and business change initiatives.
• Excellent communication and executive engagement skills.
• Strong budget governance, forecasts, and portfolio-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, assurance, and portfolio management frameworks for technology-enabled change.
• Ensure prioritisation of investments and transparent delivery performance.
• Provide demand, capacity, dependencies, risks, and outcomes visibility to leadership.
• Develop and embed standards, processes, and methodologies for change delivery.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to drive value from programmes.
