Job summary

Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking a Senior Planning & Scheduling Support to coordinate work across the network, manage resources, and support delivery of operational plans. You will work with Operational Planning, Operational Delivery and frontline teams to ensure workloads are realistic and performance is optimised.

The role emphasizes analysing performance data, improving planning processes and delivering a positive customer experience through effective scheduling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across the planning cycle including work order creation and allocation.
• Analyse performance data to provide insights for operations and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support annual plans, targets and regulatory outputs.
• Maintain accurate resource availability, workload information and adjust short-term plans.
• Resolve escalated queries from operations and customers to ensure positive outcomes.
• Provide resource reporting across skills, shifts, locations, standby and contingency needs.
• Develop standard operating procedures to support planning and scheduling.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve planning effectiveness.
