Job summary

Edwards & Pearce are recruiting an experienced production and materials planner for a growing food manufacturing business. You will manage and develop planning and stock processes to support the next growth phase.

You will allocate materials, plan factory output, monitor KPI performance, and collaborate with sales and production. The role also involves placing supplier orders, improving planning processes, and contributing to new product development.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand or production planning in a food manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Commercial acumen and a passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Developing effective and efficient plans and optimising resources.
• Allocate materials and optimise stock in line with demand.
• Plan factory output and report on output and cost KPI performance.
• Lead planning meetings and liaise with sales and production.
• Place purchase orders and manage ingredient stock.
• Develop improved planning and supply chain processes.
• Input into new product development and range introduction projects.
