Job summary

Qualifications

• A qualified planner (or working towards chartered status).

Responsibilities

• Lead on major and complex planning applications.
• Coordinate with developers, partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality schemes.
• Shape sustainable growth in line with the Local Plan and regeneration priorities.
• Support and develop a skilled and motivated planning team.
• Contribute to strategic planning decisions and long-term place shaping.
• Represent the council at committees, inquiries and public forums as required.
