Job summary

Tarmac is seeking a Strategic Planning Coordinator in the Midlands, based at Mountsorrel, to support the Land & Natural Resources function. You will coordinate diaries, meetings, materials and provide efficient administration across Strategic Planning, National Mineral Development and Circularity teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and planning skills in a busy environment.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, with exposure to SAP and Copilot.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver high standards and work collaboratively to develop new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a first point of contact for correspondence, enquiries and telephone calls
• Managing diaries, organising meetings and coordinating appointments
• Arranging internal and external meetings, including room bookings and event administration
• Booking travel and accommodation, ensuring arrangements are cost-effective and efficient
• Producing meeting materials including presentations, agendas, notes and minutes
• Maintaining departmental trackers and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date
• Supporting SAP administration and coordinating purchase orders through approved processes
• Assisting with the administration of capital and project expenditure
• Building effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders
• Providing flexible support to the wider team whenever required
