Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is looking for a proactive Streetworks Scheduler to support the Winter Readiness Project. You will coordinate streetworks and highways activities, ensuring resources and contractors are aligned, with effective traffic management arrangements and timely delivery.

The role requires strong organisational skills, experience in scheduling multiple priorities, and excellent communication with internal teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating or scheduling multiple activities and priorities.
• Excellent communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve scheduling issues proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate streetworks and highways activities.
• Coordinate work programmes and whereabouts to ensure teams and resources are available.
• Liaise with contractors, traffic management companies, clients and internal teams.
• Manage permits, notices and related documentation.
• Monitor planned works and identify delays or issues and adjust plans.
• Coordinate traffic management requirements ahead of works.
• Keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of works, permits, schedules and communications.
• Support management with reporting and administration.
