Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Performance and Planning Manager on a permanent basis to lead complex performance information and support senior management with actionable insight. You will work across Clinical Boards and corporate teams to drive continuous improvement, embedding performance indicators and robust planning processes throughout the Trust.

The role requires excellent analytical ability, strong communication, and a track record in performance

Qualifications

• English Language GCSE grade 4 or above
• Degree level education
• Master’s level qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of performance management systems and frameworks
• Experience in data collection, analysis and interpretation
• Experience in designing, producing and presenting analytical reports tailored to audience
• Experience supporting development and delivery of activity and performance planning

Responsibilities

• Provide complex performance information and advice to senior officers
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation
• Ensure timely, validated performance information is reported to Commissioners, NHS regulators and the Board
• Develop capacity and demand modelling to support future planning
• Collaborate with Operations, Information, Finance and other teams to implement action plans
• Lead benchmarking projects and develop business cases to support strategy
