Description

We're seeking a dynamic and data-driven individual to join AXA Retail's Strategy team, contributing to strategic and tactical advisory work across the Retail business. This role offers high impact and visibility.

You will leverage analytical skills, strategic thinking, and technical knowledge to improve performance and foster innovation. A strong understanding of claims is desirable to influence our value chain. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

At AXA, we promote flexible working, allowing employees to balance home and office work to suit their needs. You will work at least 40% remotely, with the majority of your time onsite from September 2025. Flexibility can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Analyze raw data to identify trends, impacts, and opportunities.
  2. Develop performance management objectives and present complex data clearly.
  3. Challenge existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  5. Identify emerging trends in retail insurance and propose innovative solutions.
  6. Present findings and recommendations to senior management effectively.
  7. Apply claims expertise to provide strategic recommendations.

What you'll bring:

  • A degree or qualification in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in performance analysis within retail insurance.
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in Python or R.
  • Data analysis and visualization skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster innovation and improve performance.
  • Claims knowledge is preferred.
