Managing Associate – Construction

Location: London (Fully Remote Considered)

The Opportunity

Harkaye Core Talent is working with a leading international law firm to hire a talented Managing Associate into their growing Construction team. This is a rare chance to join a top-tier practice working on some of the most complex and high-profile construction matters in the UK and internationally.

The firm offers complete flexibility, including the option for a fully remote setup within the UK, making it ideal for experienced construction lawyers who want to maintain a high-calibre practice without being office-bound.

What You’ll Do

• Take the lead on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
• Advise developers, investors, contractors, and consultants on major development and infrastructure projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts, appointments, warranties, and other key documents.
• Represent clients in construction disputes, including adjudications, arbitrations, and High Court litigation.
• Support business development and contribute to strategic growth.
• Mentor junior lawyers and act as a senior contact point for clients.

What We're Looking For

• UK-qualified solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in construction law.
• Strong technical ability across both contentious and non-contentious work.
• Experience gained at a top national or international firm.
• Excellent drafting, advisory, and client-handling skills.
• A commercial outlook, leadership capability, and appetite for building client relationships.
• Comfortable working autonomously or remotely while contributing to a high-performing team.
