Job summary

Oxford Brookes University seeks a Performance Analysis and Modelling Analyst to deliver high-quality data analysis for student outcomes, experience and access. You will work with large datasets, produce reports for senior decision-makers and support strategic planning.

Based at Headington with hybrid 1–2 days on campus, you will join the Modelling, Analysis and Resource Planning team and contribute to forecasting, data quality and management information provision across the university.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a subject with numerical and analytical content.
• Substantial experience of quantitative data analysis including handling and interpreting complex datasets.
• Proven experience of presenting results, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
• Experience of managing ad hoc projects.
• Evidence of ability to undertake statistical analysis and to communicate implications clearly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex analyses visually and verbally.
• Excellent IT skills with databases and spreadsheet packages; SPSS, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; strong self-organisation to manage several projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret University data to produce insights, reports and management information.
• Work with large datasets and information systems, extracting and presenting data clearly.
• Support senior leaders with high-quality analysis for planning and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with the Modelling, Analysis and Resource Planning team to inform decisions.
