Oxford Brookes University seeks a Performance Analysis and Modelling Analyst to deliver high-quality data analysis for student outcomes, experience and access. You will work with large datasets, produce reports for senior decision-makers and support strategic planning.
Based at Headington with hybrid 1–2 days on campus, you will join the Modelling, Analysis and Resource Planning team and contribute to forecasting, data quality and management information provision across the university.
Based at our Headington campus and reporting to the Performance Analysis and Modelling Manager, the Performance Analysis and Modelling Analyst will be responsible for producing high-quality analysis for a number of key areas including student outcomes, student experience, and access and participation. The post holder will work closely with the Performance Analysis and Modelling Manager to support the production of analysis and management information that informs senior decision-making and supports the University's strategic objectives. We are seeking a skilled analyst with experience in data analysis, research, or business intelligence, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders. The post is available immediately. It is a full-time post but can also be offered part-time at no less than 0.8 FTE. About the team You will join the Modelling, Analysis and Resource Planning team within Strategic Change and Planning, part of the Academic and Student Administration Directorate. The team is responsible for reporting, analysing, forecasting and modelling a wide range of data relating to student numbers, outcomes and associated metrics. The wider division provides impartial evidence, analysis and planning expertise to support strategic decision-making and change across the University, spanning business intelligence and analytics, modelling and forecasting, market intelligence, strategic planning, statutory returns and oversight of strategic change initiatives. The immediate team is small, supportive and enthusiastic, and you can expect to receive training, mentoring and opportunities for professional development. Based at our Headington campus, you'll experience the vibrant campus atmosphere and benefit from our modern office environment. The campus is one mile from the centre of Oxford and is served by regular public transport. The role will be hybrid and we expect this role is likely to require 1-2 days on campus per week.
