Job summary

Canada Life UK is seeking a Lead People Relations Partner to shape and deliver people strategies across the business. You will partner with executives, drive organisational change, and lead governance to ensure compliant, effective delivery of people priorities.

As a member of the People Strategy leadership team, you will oversee employee relations, change management and business partnering, ensuring risk controls and strong performance outcomes across geographies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and Experience: senior level experience in a Chief People Officer function within Financial Services, with strategic influence and executive collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of Diversity, Compensation, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent Management, Staffing and Organisational Effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape a commercially focused people strategy and future organisational model.
• Develop people plans that align with business objectives while ensuring local legislation compliance.
• Lead the people aspects of potential M&A activity, operating model evolution and restructuring initiatives.
• Identify people capability requirements and deploy talent plans across the Group to meet future needs.
• Provide coaching to senior leaders on people and talent matters and drive high-quality execution of plans.
