Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking an experienced People Partner to deliver high-quality HR support for schools and corporate education services. You will advise on complex HR matters and ensure compliance with employment law, while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to the Senior People Partner, you will shape HR plans, support organisational priorities, and work with recognised trade unions and governors to drive improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR professional in a large, complex organisation.
• Knowledge of employment law, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with Senior Managers and trade unions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR People Partner service for Schools and Corporate Education.
• Advise on complex HR matters such as restructures, tribunal casework and TUPE.
• Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to shape HR plans and improvements.
