Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking an experienced People Partner to deliver high-quality HR support for schools and corporate education services. You will advise on complex HR matters and ensure compliance with employment law, while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to the Senior People Partner, you will shape HR plans, support organisational priorities, and work with recognised trade unions and governors to drive improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR professional in a large, complex organisation.
• Knowledge of employment law, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with Senior Managers and trade unions.

This includes delivering expert advice on complex HR matters such as restructures, employment tribunal casework, escalated employee relations issues and TUPE. You will also support the delivery of wider HR projects and initiatives.Working in partnership with leaders, stakeholders and HR colleagues, you will help to shape and implement HR plans and solutions aligned to organisational priorities. Building strong, collaborative relationships with recognised trade unions, Governing Bodies and stakeholders will be a key part of the role.**What We Are Looking For From You**You will be an experienced HR professional who can operate confidently both operationally and strategically within a large and complex organisation.
