Job summary

Network Rail in Wales & Western region seeks an experienced HR partner to deliver the People Plan and coach senior leaders. You will provide proactive HR support across the function to address medium-term people issues and drive a high-performance culture.

The role focuses on organisation change, senior appointments and rewards, with a strong partnership approach and a commitment to safety and inclusion. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to deliver HR strategy.
• Experience implementing People Plans and HR solutions.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the HR Strategy/People Plan to support business objectives and high performance.
• Coach and challenge senior business leaders on medium-term HR issues.
• Provide operational HR support on organisation change and senior appointments.
• Drive cost-effective, integrated people solutions aligned to business goals.
• Reinforce ownership of people management by line managers.
• Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and HR Shared Services for best solutions.
• Engage with Union representatives to support business solutions.
• Collaborate with HR partners across regions on cross-geo issues.
