Job summary

Morgan Mckinley (Crawley) is seeking a People Partner on a 12-month maternity cover basis for a UK-based, multi-site organisation. The role partners with senior leaders to shape people strategy, organisational performance and culture. Salary circa £60k, full-time, 8am-17:30pm, Mon-Fri.

You will lead people plans, organisational design, workforce planning, talent reviews and change programmes, using data insights to drive better business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex, multi-site or multi-brand environment is mandatory.
• Proven track record as a senior HR Business Partner or People Partner in retail/hospitality industries.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in organisational design, transformation, turnaround or change programmes.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law.
• Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach balancing strategy with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership teams to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
• Provide advice on organisational design, workforce planning and capability.
• Use people data and insight to influence business decisions and improve performance.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning and capability mapping.
• Support leadership development and creation of high-performing teams.
• Identify and address current and future capability gaps.
• Provide guidance on complex and sensitive employee relations matters.
• Lead people aspects of restructuring, integration and business change programmes.
• Support organisational alignment and capability development during change periods.
