Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland is seeking two People Business Partners on a 12-month contract in Birmingham, Manchester, or Leeds. You will advise practice groups on People strategy, lead talent and succession planning, and drive performance cycles, salary reviews, and organisational change to support business growth.

You will partner with Partners and senior leaders to translate business needs into People initiatives, using data to guide decisions and foster a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a generalist HR business partner.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; able to tie people decisions to business outcomes.
• Experience delivering core People cyclical processes such as performance management, promotions and salary reviews.
• Ability to coach and build credibility with Partners and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of practice groups and People priorities.
• Support talent and succession planning and strengthen future talent pipelines.
• Deliver key cyclical People activity including performance management, promotions and salary reviews.
• Support organisational change considering People, capability and business needs.
• Advise on complex employee relations matters with senior colleagues where required.
