Job summary

Redgate is seeking a strategic People Partner to collaborate with Technology and Product leadership, shaping and owning the people strategy to drive company goals. You’ll be part of the, leadership team rhythm, aligning headcount, org design, and retention with executives.

You’ll push for data-driven decisions and bring cross-functional improvements. You’ll partner closely with product/engineering, use people metrics to diagnose issues, and explore practical AI integrations for the People

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a strategic People Partner or HR Business Partner in a high-growth or fast-changing business, ideally tech or SaaS, partnering directly with product or engineering leadership.
• A commercial mindset: connect business issues behind people problems to commercial outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and make decisions stick without formal authority.
• Confident using people metrics (attrition, engagement, hiring velocity, time to fill) to diagnose underlying issues.
• Evidence of shaping how a People team works, not just delivering inside one area.

Responsibilities

• Sit inside the leadership team's regular rhythm, seeing roadmap trade-offs early enough to shape them, not react to problems.
• Own the people strategy for Technology and Product: headcount planning, org design, succession, retention, with exec alignment.
• Spot patterns across functions and bring improvements to the wider People Partner team.
• Coach and challenge leaders directly, including pushing back on VPs or executives when data or judgment says they are wrong.
• Find practical ways to bring AI into the function and People Partner team workflow, not as a bolt-on.
