Job summary

Redgate Software in Cambridge is seeking an experienced hands-on technical leader to guide a small cross-functional team building the next generation of AI capabilities for database administration. You’ll sit with a Tech Lead, Product Designer, Product Manager, and 4–5 engineers, shaping engineering practice and delivering impactful work.

• Experience designing, building and operating scalable, secure software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team engineering initiatives and own delivery quality.
• Shape technical strategy at the product level with Architects and PMs.
• Coach and develop engineers, guiding team growth and capability.
• Partner with customers to understand impact and prioritise work accordingly.
• Drive the AI capabilities roadmap across Redgate’s product suite.
