Job summary

Archangel Lightworks, based in Osney Mead, Oxford, seeks a skilled Business Development Manager to accelerate market adoption of optical communications services and products. You will develop and maintain global customer relationships and own the pipeline from opportunity to deal closure.

Responsibilities include leading complex, multi‑stakeholder pursuits, coordinating responses to RFPs/RFIs, and providing proposal leadership. Travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in business development or sales in space/ Satellite/ telecoms domains.
• Experience closing multi‑million, multi‑year deals with operators/ government customers.
• Ability to translate complex propositions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent global customer relationships, positioning Archangel Lightworks as a trusted partner.
• Own pipeline creation through to deal closure, shaping offers for commercial, civil and defence sectors.
• Deliver a qualified opportunity pipeline across priority user groups and market segments.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder pursuits, bid responses, and proposal leadership.
• Represent the company at domestic and international exhibitions/conferences.
• Build market intelligence and contribute to go‑to‑market strategy and planning.
