Job summary

Archangel Lightworks in Oxford is seeking a Project Manager to oversee internal and external projects across optical communication domains, including development of our TERRA-M ground station. You will coordinate with the Programme Manager and Engineering Manager to deliver on time, within scope and budget.

You will translate technical requirements into clear plans, manage risks and finances, foster stakeholder relationships including suppliers and customers, and support agile and stage-gate

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full-lifecycle hardware and/or software development projects.
• Familiarity with stage-gate processes from R&D to production.
• Stakeholder management with commercial or quasi-government bodies.
• Experience controlling project finances, forecasts and audits.
• PM accreditation or equivalent extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned product developments to scope, timeline and budget.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into plans.
• Partner with Technical Leads to align development plans with backlog.
• Identify and manage project risks and cross-functional impacts.
• Support financial tracking and forecast accuracy.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
