Job summary

TaiSan Motors Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Partnership Lead to identify and develop strategic collaborations with customers, industry partners and research institutions. You will translate customer requirements into technical programs, lead initial technical discussions, and build pilot projects and long-term commercial relationships across the UK and Europe.

The role requires a strong technical background in sodium-ion/sodium-metal batteries and electrolyte systems, with excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, materials science, electrochemistry, chemical engineering, battery science, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of rechargeable battery technologies.
• Knowledge of sodium-ion, sodium-metal, solid-state batteries or advanced electrolyte technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience in partnerships, business development, technical sales, customer programmes or technology commercialisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with battery manufacturers, OEMs, mobility companies, energy-storage companies and other industrial partners.
• Lead technical and commercial discussions with prospective customers and partners.
• Translate customer requirements into technical development programmes.
• Lead initial technical discussions independently and communicate effectively with battery scientists and engineers.
• Coordinate sample evaluations, tests and customer validation programmes.
• Prepare technical–commercial presentations, proposals and partnership documentation.
