You will design and deliver the ORI program, collaborating with underwriting, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure protective structures align with business objectives. The role emphasizes operational delivery and analytical insight, with strong stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• ACII qualification or actively working towards a professional insurance qualification.
• Knowledge of outward reinsurance placement processes in London Market or Lloyd’s syndicate.
• Broad knowledge of Property, Casualty and Specialty lines and reinsurance structures.
• Familiarity with catastrophe modelling outputs and exposure management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute outward reinsurance placement according to policies and guidelines.
• Propose optimised reinsurance solutions to enhance value and outcomes.
• Produce outward reinsurance MI to support planning and decision-making.
• Identify events affecting financial results and escalate to the Active Underwriter.
• Contribute to developing alternative risk transfer methods and capital market transactions.
• Act as main contact for outward reinsurance information with brokers and reinsurers.
• Oversee timely production of outward reinsurance information.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers and reinsurers to meet Ki’s strategic needs.
