Job summary
The SGSAH Head of Strategy and Operations is a senior role within the University of Glasgow's SGSAH partnership. You will shape SGSAH's strategic vision across 17 HEIs, lead operational strategy, governance, financial planning and organisational development to ensure sustainable, high-quality delivery.
As a senior leader you will provide expert advice to the Director, Board and Executive on strategic, operational and organisational matters, overseeing governance, risk, compliance and performance
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in strategically important roles.
- Substantial knowledge of governance, risk and policy development.
- Experience with externally funded programmes and complex partnerships.
- Desirable: HE/postgraduate research environment knowledge.
- Desirable: UKRI/AHRC funding environments knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert strategic and operational leadership for SGSAH.
- Oversee governance, risk, compliance, policy and performance across funding streams.
- Lead the transition from DTP2 to the DLA Hub and post-DTP operating model.
- Advise the Director, Board and Executive on strategic or organisational matters.
