Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Guernsey seeks a senior CAO professional to support leadership by delivering strategic priorities, governance reports, and cross-border initiatives within the Private Bank. You will engage senior stakeholders, drive business planning, and oversee audits with a focus on timely, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial forecasting and cost tracking against plan.
• Strong analytical skills to assess policy, regulatory and business change impacts.
• Ability to coordinate audit and governance activity with evidence preparation and action tracking.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across markets and tailoring briefings.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office and applying responsible AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the CAO team’s day-to-day book of work with clear priorities.
• Support Head of Business Management and CEO in delivering strategic priorities.
• Translate objectives into practical plans with milestones and actions.
• Support business planning, strategy execution and risk tracking.
• Review audit reports and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Coordinate information for internal and external audits through completion.
• Support regulatory engagement and coordinate Reviews with second-line colleagues.
• Translate policy changes into practical management actions and communications.
• Prepare governance papers and tailored briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• Develop management information to support decision-making and risk visibility.
• Coordinate cross-border initiatives across Guernsey and Switzerland.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and processes across CAO.
• Deliver workforce planning and management information including joiners/leavers data.
