Job summary

Brown & Brown UK is seeking an Operational Resilience Manager in London. The role is hybrid with travel to other offices, focusing on embedding the resilience framework to meet UK regulatory requirements and maintain strong cross‑business relationships.

You will lead risk assessments, scenario testing, and annual resilience planning, ensuring robust MI and governance reporting while collaborating with IBS owners and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory environment and frameworks.
• Experience in Operational Resilience roles within UK regulated financial services firms.
• Ability to navigate problem areas and define solutions.
• Proven ability to understand complex end-to-end processes including technology and customer impacts.
• Exceptional project management leadership skills.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operational resilience framework, policies and strategies across the Retail Division.
• Maintain and mature the organisation’s Operational Resilience policy and framework across the division.
• Support IBS owners with mapping, tracking, MI and board reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis and scenario planning with relevant teams.
• Manage annual scenario testing of IBS to verify impact tolerances and identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop annual resilience plans ensuring they remain fit for purpose.
• Oversee reporting of operational resilience MI to governance forums.
• Lead on reporting of annual self-assessment to the Brown & Brown Board.
• Communicate resilience risks across the business and influence outcomes.
