Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP seeks an Onboarding Business Lead (KYC/CDD) to partner on complex onboarding cases, owning end-to-end risk and ensuring compliant execution. You will engage senior client representatives by phone and video, building relationships early in the process and applying independent judgement to evidence and source of funds.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on onboarding experience with end-to-end case ownership.
• Strong knowledge of UK financial crime obligations and AML rules.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and document decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as a risk partner for complex, commercially important cases from start to finish.
• Lead client outreach with senior client representatives by phone, video and written comms.
• Provide strategic evidence for risk-based options and decision-making.
• Elevate recurring themes into training, guidance and improved processes.
• Advise Partners and Directors on evidence strategy and conflicts of interest.
