Job summary

Qualifications

• NMC Registered General Nurse (Part 1) and Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Occupational Health) qualifications.
• Significant post-registration experience in Occupational Health.
• In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health practice, services and Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical advice on fitness for work, rehabilitation and workplace health risks.
• Manage a complex caseload, supporting employees in sensitive or challenging situations.
• Work with managers to address attendance, performance and wellbeing concerns.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce health strategy.
• Lead and contribute to health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support organisational priorities by contributing to People Strategy and service plans.
• Represent Occupational Health in meetings and cross-service forums.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, legislation and clinical governance.
